Fishing has always been a part of my life as a result of the influence of my pop who owned a tackle shop for over 15 years. At a very early age I can remember fishing with a spinning rod and a can of corn. He taught me how to Fly Fish and created some of the most realistic patterns I’ve ever seen. We spent many hours on the water trolling for trout and salmon learning the value of catch and release for the future survival of all species.
I consider myself an avid fisherman in terms of attitude and desire, continuing to learn and refine what will undoubtedly be a life long journey.
Fishing is my passion with the love to fish for all species but from the tournament perspective my focus remains on Bass. Cajun Custom Rods, Daiwa, and Shimano reels are currently in my go to arsenal.
Currently a member of (KBF) kayak bass fishing organization I am looking forward to participating in the upcoming KBF National Championship and KBF Northeast Trail.
Preparing for tournaments allows me the opportunity to research different waters and Bass habitat. Strategically rigging my Kayak for each environment is a valued challenge and look forward to both tournament and fun fishing in my 2020 – 360 Hobie Kayak Proangler.
My time spent with the Three Belles Fishing Team has been invaluable, they have embraced me as a new 2020 member and have been great fishing mentors, make fishing fun! Tournament fishing is inspiring, fun fishing alone or with friends and family is where you realize how the gift of fishing offers being present in the moment and enjoying what is going on here and now.
