Shawn Dominik

I’m Shawn “The Fisherman” Dominik, and I’m proud to be representing Three Belles as a member of their first Regional Fishing Team!

My fishing adventure started when my family relocated across my hometown in Western Massachusetts to our new home close to the Chicopee River in the late 1980’s. Through middle school and high school, I spent more time than I can remember wading, canoeing, and belly-boating there in my quest for Black Bass. I was “that kid” that was always ready to head out to fish, if I wasn’t there already!

After college and through my 21 years in the Air Force, my adventure became a passion. I made sure to fish across our nation, wherever my service took me. Upon settling back in Western Mass with my wife and sons, I focused more and more on improving as a competitive angler.

While I focus most on pursuing Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass in tournaments, I have come to love the “scavenger hunt” aspect of a good multispecies tournament, and never turn down an opportunity to chase Northern Pike. (Especially in the upper Midwest, my home-away-from-home.)

Recently, I have expanded the scope of my fishing activities and responsibilities in both competitive and recreational communities. You may have heard my voice talking about all things fishing with the host with the most, Bobby Roast Beef, on the weekly Jigs and Bigs Podcast. I’ve also grown into the role of Director for The Jigs and Bigs Online Tournament Series, Chronic Trips Online Tournament Series, and the Massachusetts Kayak Bassin’ (MAKB) Western Division.

After meeting and working with Three Belles Outfitters through the podcast, I quickly realized how much the staff there truly cares about the quality of service they provide to fellow outdoorsmen and women of all experience levels. I’m excited to be an ambassador for the Three Belles brand and hope to see you on the water soon!
