Hometown: Fairfield County, South Carolina
Hello All! I’m Addison Carter. I was born in South Carolina and grew up most of my life in Connecticut.
Fishing has always been my everything from the first few times I went bluegill fishing in ponds, to my first experience in saltwater fishing on the piers in Myrtle Beach. I was hooked!
The first time I jumped into a kayak was life-changing for me.
No more bank fishing. It was total freedom on the water! Being In a kayak, it feels like you can write your own book in the sense that it allows you to explore places not accessible by land.
I would consider myself an all-species fisherman. From fishing ice fishing in the dead of winter, to the rivers in the springtime, and hitting the local rivers and Long Island Sound from April to September, I love chasing after all species of fish.
But there are no words that can come to mind that truly describe the feeling of being out on the kayak at 2AM, throwing artificial eels, and suddenly my drag screams from a hit the fight begins to land the fish on the other end of my line. Nothing compares to this feeling, and I look forward to it all year.
